Donn Storch, PhD
Dr. Storch serves as the Vice President of Technical Services for LAS, Inc. and co-founded the Company with
Kelly Klepinger in 1997. In this role, he provides expert guidance for all clients seeking to implement or
upgrade a LIMS. Dr. Storch has decades of experience in the fields of chemistry and information technology,
and was a tenured Professor of Chemistry at the United States Air Force Academy.
Major accomplishments include atomic-level, chemical, and biological research in multiple fields of study as well
as advancement of computer telecommunications research. Dr. Storch is a National Research Council advisor for
Computational Chemistry, and holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin.

Richard Klepinger
Mr. Klepinger is the Director of Quality and Strategic Development for LAS, Inc. In this role, Mr. Klepinger uses
his expert knowledge of corporate quality and total quality management (TQM) methodologies to assist clients
in assessing and standardizing their laboratory environments.
Mr. Klepinger has worked with top levels of
Federal Government officials to standardize and document organizational standards and software processes. A major
accomplishment is his work with the Air Force Materiel Command which resulted in one of the first Federal
Organizations to achieve SEI Level III certification. Mr. Klepinger has also directed large quality
assurance/management projects in commercial organizations, developing plans and guidelines for program completion.

Everett Welch
As a Senior Scientist and LIMS Consultant, Mr. Welch provides expert LIMS requirements elicitation, project
management, and laboratory process improvement guidance. As a project manager for a major Texas municipal
water system, Mr. Welch facilitated a LIMS replacement within budgetary and time constraints.
Mr. Welch's management experience includes financial planning, risk and gap analysis, test planning, and
assessments of laboratory business methodologies. He has extensive Environmental, Forensic and Public Health
LIMS experience. Mr. Welch is a 30-year veteran of the United States Navy (active and reserve duty), and
